Trail Blazers' Al-Farouq Aminu: Practiced Friday, won't play Saturday

Aminu (calf) participated in Friday's practice but will not play in Saturday's game against the Heat, Casey Holdahl of TrailBlazers.com reports.

Analysis:

Aminu is still nursing a calf injury that has held him out since early November, and while the practicing is surely encouraging for his status, he'll remain out for the foreseeable future as he works to get 100 percent healthy and his conditioning in order. Maurice Harkless will continue to start in Aminu's absence.
