Pelicans' Cheick Diallo: Assigned to D-League
Diallo was assigned Friday to the Austin Spurs of the NBA D-League.
Analysis:
This will be Diallo's second trip down to the D-League, as he has averaged 14.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game in his time with the Spurs. The big man out of Kansas remains a raw talent, so he will continue to develop on both levels but get valuable real-game minutes in the D-League.
