Jazz's George Hill: Ruled out for Thursday

Hill will sit out Thursday's game against the Heat due to a sprained left big toe, Jazz radio play-by-play broadcaster David Locke reports.

Analysis:

Hill had already missed eight games this season because of a thumb sprain, but had been excellent in his first three games back before scoring just eight points in 32 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Rockets. It appears he may have picked up a new injury in that game, and he'll be given Thursday off in order to recover. With the regular starting backcourt of Hill and Rodney Hood (hamstring), who is questionable, both uncertain to be available, Shelvin Mack, Dante Exum, Joe Johnson and Joe Ingles could be tasked with covering all the minutes at either guard spot.
