Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Churns out 35-14-11 line in overtime win

Westbrook tallied 35 points (12-35 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 10-10 FT), 14 rebounds, 11 assists and two steals across 41 minutes in Wednesday's 126-115 overtime win over the Wizards.

Analysis:

Though the Wizards limited Westbrook to 7-of-28 shooting from the field until late in the fourth quarter, the point guard hit a key three-pointer with 8.5 seconds remaining to force overtime, and then exploded in the extra period. He recorded 14 of the Thunder's 21 points in overtime, going 4-of-6 from the field and 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. It was still an inefficient shooting night on the whole for Westbrook, who attempted his second-most shots of the season, but the drop in field-goal percentage was offset by him rolling to his fourth straight triple-double. Westbrook now has nine triple-doubles on the season, more than the rest of the NBA combined.
