Nuggets' Darrell Arthur: Will not play Wednesday

Arthur (illness) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Heat, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Arthur was ruled doubtful earlier in the day due to an illness, so his absence Wednesday was fully expected. With Arthur sidelined, it could provide some additional minutes for the likes of Nikola Jokic and Juan Hernangomez off the bench behind starter, Kenneth Faried. Depending on how he responds to treatment over the next few days, Arthur could be available by Friday's matchup with the Rockets.
