Nuggets' Will Barton: Will sit out Sunday

Barton (ankle) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Suns, Nuggets radio play-by-play announcer Jason Kosmicki reports.

Analysis:

Barton will miss a second consecutive game with an ankle injury, after previously missing Friday's matchup with the Thunder as well. Jameer Nelson started at shooting guard during that contest, going off for 21 points and 13 assists over 41 minutes, so look for him to get the call again with the top overall unit. Jamal Murray also saw a much bigger role off the bench, recording 20 points and seven rebounds over 34 minutes, so he should also see a temporary boost in value with Barton still sidelined.
