Suns' Tyson Chandler: Rejoins team, will play Friday

Chandler (personal) has rejoined the Suns and is expected to be available for Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

After missing four games following the death of his mother earlier this month, Chandler returned to start in a Nov. 16 game against the Nuggets, but went on bereavement leave during the Suns' subsequent four games while tending to his mother's funeral arrangements. Though Chandler is now back with the team, he's not guaranteed to take the starting center role back from Alex Len on Friday, as his lack of practice time of late could prompt the coaching staff to limit his minutes. It shouldn't take long for Chandler to get reacclimated, but it may take a few games before the Suns are comfortable handing him 30-minute workloads.
