76ers' Jerryd Bayless: Will play off the bench Monday

Bayless (wrist) will be active and available to play off the bench on Monday against the Heat, Derek Bodner of Philadelphia Magazine reports.

Analysis:

Bayless was upgraded to probable earlier Monday, so it was fully expected he'd make his season debut against the Heat. That said, he's going to be eased into action, so Bayless may come off the bench for at least the next few outings before potentially taking the starting point guard role from Sergio Rodriguez. Look for Bayless to have his playing time heavily restricted in his debut as he look to work his way back into game shape.
