Knicks' Joakim Noah: Ruled out with illness Sunday

Noah is dealing with an illness and will be held out for Sunday's game against the Hawks, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Noah was apparently feeling under the weather Sunday morning, so the Knicks won't take any chances with playing him at less than full strength. Kyle O'Quinn will enter the starting lineup in his stead, while the team also recalled Marshall Plumlee from the D-League's Westchester Knicks to provide extra depth at center. Noah should be viewed as day-to-day in advance of Tuesday's matchup with the Trail Blazers.
