Wizards' Markieff Morris: Suffers ankle injury
Morris suffered a sprained right ankle in the second quarter of Saturday's game against the Heat and didn't return.
Analysis:
Morris wasn't immediately ruled out of Saturday's contest and was considered questionable to return, but the Wizards ultimately decided to hold him out for the rest of the night. X-rays taken on his ankle after the game came back negative, according to Candace Buckner of The Washington Post, and Morris believes he will practice Sunday, so he may be able to avoid missing any further action. The Wizards' next game is scheduled for Monday against the Suns, his former squad.
