Pelicans' E'Twaun Moore: Returns to starting lineup

Moore (toe) started at shooting guard and scored 14 points (6-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding four assists, three rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 89-82 loss to the Magic

Analysis:

Moore missed Monday's win over the Celtics with a sprained toe, but immediately settled back into a starting role after a one-game absence and assumed a large workload. Though he doesn't offer high-end production in any one category, Moore is currently holding down career-best per-game marks in scoring (12.6), assists (3.0), steals (1.0), three-pointers (1.0) and minutes (30.1). He'll likely begin to lose some playing time and see his production dwindle a bit in the games to come, as Jrue Holiday (personal) is set to make his season debut Friday against the Trail Blazers and should serve as the focal point in the Pelicans' backcourt.
