Carroll back in action for Raptors against Warriors
DeMarre Carroll will make his return from a two-game absence Wednesday for the Toronto Raptors against the Golden State Warriors.
It's good news for a team in the midst of a difficult back-to-back, having lost a tough game to the Cleveland Cavaliers Tuesday - and not just for what Carroll can bring to the floor. There's been a concern that the forward is still dealing with significant knee troubles; even though he was listed as active the past two games, he didn't see the court in either.
Carroll is having a rough start to the season when he does play. In eight games, the 30-year-old is shooting under 36 percent from the floor and just 29 percent from beyond the arc. Still, he remains a key component both offensively and defensively for a team that currently sits third in the Eastern Conference.
