Rose scored 21 points (10-20 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) while adding four rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes during Saturday's 118-107 loss to the Raptors.

Analysis:

The 21 points were a season high for Rose, and marked the first -- but likely not the last -- time this season that he and Carmelo Anthony both scored 20 or more in the same game. That didn't help the Knicks pick up a win, but defensive lapses were primarily to blame. As Rose and Melo grow acclimated to each other, the Knicks' offense could prove to be one of the most potent in the NBA.
