Wizards' John Wall: Will play Friday, sit out Saturday

Wall will play Friday against the Cavaliers, but will sit out Saturday's game against the Bulls in order to rest.

Coach Scott Brooks announced Thursday that Wall would sit out one end of the Wizards' back-to-back games Friday and Saturday as part of his rehab plan, and it's now clear which one that will be. Wall figures to see his usual 30-plus minutes while starting at point guard Friday, but look for Tomas Satoransky and Trey Burke to see increased responsibilities in initiating the offense Saturday.
