The Houston Rockets will soon have a familiar face back in their starting lineup.

Point guard Patrick Beverley is expected to return to the court in two weeks at the latest, head coach Mike D'Antoni told Mark Berman of FOX 26. Beverley has been out of the lineup since undergoing knee surgery in October.

The 28-year-old averaged 9.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists on 43.4 percent shooting in 71 games for Houston this past season.

Beverley will likely be used at shooting guard with James Harden excelling at the point, and is likely to draw the toughest backcourt assignment on the defensive end.

Corey Brewer will remain in the Rockets' lineup until Beverley returns, according to ESPN's Calvin Watkins.
