Jazz's Gordon Hayward: Delivers full line in Monday's blowout win
Hayward contributed 20 points (9-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal in 30 minutes during the Jazz's 109-84 victory over the 76ers on Monday.
Analysis:
Hayward has started off the season in style, scoring 48 points combined in his first two showings after missing most of the preseason and the first six regular season contests with a broken left index finger. The Jazz even opted to bring him and other key rotation players back into the game late in the fourth quarter Monday despite holding a huge lead, so it's clear that coach Quin Snyder is looking to get Hayward back into the flow of things right away.
