Pacers' Jeff Teague: Breaks out of shooting slump in victory

Teague supplied a team-high 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt), six assists, one rebound and one steal across 29 minutes in Saturday's 111-94 win over the Bulls.

Analysis:

Teague's woeful 32 percent mark from the field over the Pacers' first six games has played a major factor in the team's sluggish 3-3 start to the season, but Saturday's performance should give fantasy owners confidence that the worst is behind the point guard. With an array of skilled offensive options around him, Teague has already made major strides as a distributor with 6.8 assists per game compared to last season's 5.9, and his value will only grow once his field-goal percentage begins to trend closer to his 44.6 percent career mark. Teague makes for a good buy-low target right now while his scoring and shooting percentages still remain down, but the window to trade for him could close quickly after he turned in a season-best outing.
