Grizzlies' Zach Randolph: Just misses double-double off bench Saturday

Randolph scored 13 points (5-14 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding nine rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 111-104 loss to the Knicks.

Analysis:

He's off to a strong start to the season as the frontcourt anchor of the Grizzlies' second unit, nearly recording his second double-double in as many games. The 35-year-old Randolph saw his rebounding numbers take a steep dive last year though, and as his minutes continue to decline it'll be hard for him to maintain this kind of pace on the glass.
