Raptors' Kyle Lowry: Slow start through two games

Lowry scored 17 points (5-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT) and picked up four assists and two rebounds across 39 minutes in Friday's 94-91 loss to the Cavaliers.

Analysis:

Despite seeing hefty minutes loads in the Raptors' first two games, Lowry has yet to find a groove on the offensive end, with poor shooting and turnovers serving as his main pitfalls. He's hit only 8-of-29 attempts from the field and 2-of-10 shots from the three-point line to go along with a 12:8 assist-to-turnover ratio. History suggests that Lowry will heat up before long, but until the point guard breaks out, the Raptors' offense figures to run through DeMar DeRozan, who has tallied 72 points in the pair of games.
