Trail Blazers' Meyers Leonard: Drops out of rotation Thursday

Leonard (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in Thursday's 114-106 loss to the Clippers.

Analysis:

Leonard seems to be in good health after a lower-back issue plagued him toward the end of the preseason, but it appears he's nonetheless plummeted down the depth chart. After seeing only nine minutes in Tuesday's season opener against the Jazz, Leonard fell out of coach Terry Stotts' rotation entirely Thursday, with Noah Vonleh seemingly surpassing him as the preferred backup to starting power forward Al-Farouq Aminu.
