Lakers' Thomas Robinson: Makes Lakers roster

Robinson officially made the Lakers' 15-man roster Monday, ESPN.com's Marc Stein reports.

Analysis:

With Yi Jianlian dissatisfied with his role with the Lakers and officially requesting his release from the team Monday, Robinson was able to claim the final available frontcourt spot. Already a journeyman at age 25, Robinson will look to find some semblance of a permanent home in Los Angeles after spending time with the Nets, 76ers, Trail Blazers, Rockets and Kings since entering the NBA in 2012.
