Nuggets' Darrell Arthur: Doesn't practice Thursday

Arthur (knee) was not a participant in Thursday's open practice, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

Earlier in October, Arthur indicated he hoped to return to the court within 10-to-14 days. Friday marks the 10th day since those comments, which means Arthur could be nearing a return. He wasn't on the practice floor Thursday, however, and an update on his availability has yet to be given, so it remains to be seen if he'll play in Friday's preseason finale. It seems much more likely he'll be held out in an attempt to get him healthy for the regular season opener on Oct. 26.
