Lakers' Jordan Clarkson: Makes second straight start Wednesday

Clarkson posted 11 points (3-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes in Wednesday's 123-112 preseason loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

Though coach Luke Walton has deployed Clarkson as the team's sixth man for much of the preseason, he's settled back into his usual starting role at shooting guard for the last two games, suggesting he'll open the regular season in that capacity. Clarkson hasn't complained about coach Luke Walton's decision to bring him off the bench, so it's possible that we could see him get a look in that role on select occasions throughout the regular season. Lou Williams would be the leading candidate to enter the starting lineup in such a scenario, but Clarkson will see frequently see the larger minutes load of the two regardless of what the arrangement happens to be on a given night.
