Grizzlies' Deyonta Davis: Makes preseason debut vs. Wolves

Davis made his preseason debut in Wednesday's 101-94 loss to the Timberwolves, finishing with three points (1-5 FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and two blocks in 12 minutes.

Analysis:

Davis was mostly quiet in his first taste of NBA action after a bout of plantar fasciitis had sidelined him since early July. Once considered a lottery talent, Davis plummeted to the second round of the 2016 NBA Draft and should spend much of his first season in the D-League, with the Grizzlies viewing him as a long-term project.
