More details emerge by the hour when it comes to old tensions in Oklahoma City concerning former teammates Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.

What was once thought of as a tight partnership has been dissected to no end. The latest revelations come from Durant in November's issue of Rolling Stone which sees the controversial Golden State Warrior on its cover and features an in-depth interview with Paul Solotaroff.

"We had our own cliques that we hung with on the road," Durant explained of his time in OKC. "Russell had his guys, I had mine. It was never a bad thing. Just how it was."

Contrast that to comments made by Westbrook during last season's playoff run. It was all good just a few months ago.

"Me and Kevin's relationship is great. He's like my brother," Westbrook said in May. "We talk about different things, not just basketball-related. He's always gonna have my back and I'll always have his."

It wasn't just Westbrook who felt that way. Durant called Westbrook his "favorite teammate" at the 2014 ESPYs and thanked him repeatedly during his tear-jerking 2014 MVP acceptance speech.

It's no surprise, given how far things have come, that Westbrook still hasn't talked to his former teammate, who left things off with a text message after his decision to leave Oklahoma City.
