Bucks' Greg Monroe: Goes 6-for-19 from field in loss

Monroe produced 12 points (6-19 FG), eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 23 minutes in Monday's 102-78 preseason loss to the Pistons.

Analysis:

The Bucks gave Miles Plumlee the starting nod at center Monday, and while he's expected to serve in that capacity when the regular season begins, Monroe still figures to see the bulk of the minutes at the position while coming off the bench. He's usually an efficient source of frontcourt scoring, but that certainly hasn't been the case through his four appearances in the preseason. His 6-for-19 mark against the Pistons brought his shooting percentage all the way down to 38.7 percent over 77 preseason minutes.
