Warriors' JaVale McGee: Good chance of making roster

Coach Steve Kerr said McGee has a "good chance" of making the Warriors' 15-man roster, Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Analysis:

McGee has been given extended minutes over the past few preseason games, including a productive effort against the Lakers on Saturday, when he had 12 points, four rebounds and two blocked shots in 14 minutes. The Warriors' style doesn't allot much playing time to traditional centers, but that's the position considered the Warriors' weakest link. If starter Zaza Pachulia struggles to defend the low post and Anderson Varejao continues to battle injuries, McGee could sneak in for around 10-to-15 minutes per game.
