Raptors' Terrence Ross: Sits out of practice Monday

Ross (knee) sat out practice again Monday, but expects to be available for the Raptors' Oct. 26 regular season opener, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.

Analysis:

The Raptors have two preseason games remaining on the schedule, but it seems unlikely that Ross will suit up for either. The team is hoping to get Ross back at practice at some point next week, with the expectation that he'll be at full strength prior to the opener. If Ross is indeed held out over the final two preseason contests, Norman Powell would benefit from some more minutes with the second unit.
