Hawks' Dwight Howard: Takes Sunday off for rest

Howard (rest) will sit out Sunday's preseason tilt with the Magic, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

The Hawks will rest Howard, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Korver, Kent Bazemore and Malcolm Delaney for this contest, opening up playing time for several of the team's deep reserves. Look for Mike Muscala and Walter Tavares to assume most of the minutes at center while Howard is out.
