Knicks' Joakim Noah: Misses practice with sore ankle

Noah is dealing with a sore right ankle and was unable to practice Thursday, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Noah has yet to see the floor during the preseason, with a hamstring injury the primary culprit for his absence. He was finally able to join the team for a scrimmage Wednesday, but it didn't take him long to pick up a new injury. Fortunately, the Knicks don't believe it's anything serious, with coach Jeff Hornacek saying that he still expects Noah to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Celtics, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.com.
