Heat's Wayne Ellington: Will start Tuesday

Ellington will start at shooting guard in Tuesday's preseason game against the Nets.

Analysis:

Ellington saw 16 minutes off the bench in his only other preseason appearance, but with Dion Waiters (back) hurting, he'll enter the starting five. Waiters is still active for the contest, but he'll be brought off the bench, which will likely allow coach Erik Spoelstra to better manage his minutes. It's still expected that Waiters will start at shooting guard this season while Tyler Johnson serves as his top backup, so Ellington isn't a lock to be a fixture in Spoelstra's rotation.
