Nuggets' Darrell Arthur: Should be ready in about two weeks

Arthur (knee) said Tuesday that he's hoping to return to the court within 10-to-14 days, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Arthur underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in September and has been limited throughout training camp while he attempts to work his way back to full strength before the start of the regular season. While he's been slower to progress than anticipated, Arthur remains optimistic that he'll be ready to go when the Nuggets kick off the 2016-17 campaign Oct. 26 against the Pelicans. However, with Arthur's timetable making it unlikely that he'll be able to log any preseason action, there's a good chance he'll be held out of the rotation early in the regular season in order to regain conditioning.
