Jazz's Joe Johnson: Starts at small forward Monday

Johnson will start at small forward in Monday's preseason game against the Clippers, Jody Genessy of Deseret News reports.

Analysis:

With Gordon Hayward expected to miss upwards of six weeks with a fractured and dislocated finger, Johnson looks to be first in line to replace him in the starting five. The move to the top unit should lead to a slight uptick in his minutes, but Johnson probably won't see his production take much of a jump with at least three or four of the Jazz's other starters likely in line for greater offensive usage than him. Still, Johnson could be a decent roster option in deeper leagues for what he'll offer in the points, three-pointers and assists categories.
