Hawks' Paul Millsap: Out vs. Cavaliers

Millsap (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's preseason game against the Cavaliers, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Millsap remains limited while recovering from a non-surgical knee procedure, but he was able to partake in some three-on-three drills at Monday's morning shootaround. He'll still be forced out of a third straight contest, but the Hawks anticipate having Millsap at full strength for the start of the regular season. Unless he suffers an unexpected setback along the way, Millsap looks like a safe early-round selection due to his multi-category contributions.
