Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Out vs. Magic

Thompson will be held out of Wednesday's preseason game against the Magic due to left foot stiffness, Sam Amico of FOX Sports Ohio reports.

Analysis:

Thompson was initially expected to start at center and play roughly 15 minutes, but the Cavaliers won't take any chances with even minor injuries during the preseason. Chris Andersen is now in line to start in place of Thompson, who will join Kyrie Irving (rest) on the bench.
