Pacers' Kevin Seraphin: Will start at center Tuesday
Seraphin will start at center in Tuesday's preseason game against the Pelicans, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports.
Analysis:
Myles Turner has recently been cleared from a concussion and is expected to start at center once the regular season arrives, but he'll be held out Tuesday, giving Seraphin a chance to run with the starters. Al Jefferson is also ahead of Seraphin on the depth chart, but the Pacers want to keep him with the second unit throughout the preseason, as that's the role he's expected to take on during the regular season. With that said, Seraphin could struggle to see meaningful minutes once games actually start to matter.
