Bulls' Taj Gibson: Will draw the start at power forward Monday

Gibson will draw the start at power forward during Monday's preseason opener against the Bucks, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Earlier in training camp, coach Fred Hoiberg announced Gibson, Nikola Mirotic and Bobby Portis would all compete for the starting job at power forward. It appears Gibson will get the first crack at claiming those duties, although it wouldn't be surprising if the trio alternates starts throughout the rest of the preseason. Gibson is valued mostly for his rebounding and defensive toughness, so that along with an expected timeshare with Mirotic and Portis could hurt his fantasy value as the season progresses.
