Spurs' Leonard misses Duncan already

Tim Duncan hasn't been gone from the San Antonio Spurs for long, but Kawhi Leonard already misses him.

The Big Fundamental announced his retirement during the offseason after spending his entire 19-year career with the Spurs.

With Duncan hanging up his sneakers, Leonard officially became the leader of the team. The two formed a bond while playing together over the past five years, so now Leonard can't help but feel bummed out over Duncan's absence.

"His personality isn't here, jokes that he makes during practice, that's the things I'm missing right now," the back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year said Tuesday during training camp.

Duncan, who's set to re-join the organization in a role that's yet to be determined, stopped by the following day.

Surely that made the normally stone-faced Leonard smile.
