Nuggets' Darrell Arthur: Won't play in preseason opener

Arthur (knee) won't play in Monday's preseason opener against the Raptors, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Arthur is the only Nuggets player who will be unavailable for Monday's contest, as he continues to recover from the left knee scope he required a few weeks ago. Coach Mike Malone recently said that he's hopeful Arthur will be "full go" in a few weeks, according to Dempsey, so it seems likely that the reserve forward will miss multiple preseason contests.
