Nuggets' Malik Beasley: Ready to go for training camp

Beasley (leg) said Monday that he's received full clearance for training camp, Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

It's still possible that the Nuggets will limit Beasley's workload early on during his first NBA training camp, but the rookie doesn't appear at risk at being unavailable for the start of the season. Though Beasley's outside shooting skills prompted the Nuggets to draft him 19th overall in June, the team's existing depth on the wing will likely keep the youngster glued to the bench in his first NBA season. Don't be surprised if he's excluded from coach Mike Malone's rotation and spends some extensive time in the D-League.
