Celtics' Jalen Jones: Gets camp deal from Boston

Jones signed a training camp contract with the Celtics on Monday, NBA.com reports.

Analysis:

Jones, an undrafted forward out of Texas A&M, will get a chance to audition for a reserve wing gig with the Celtics during camp, but he's an extreme long shot to crack the 15-man roster. He didn't do much to distinguish himself in five summer league appearances with the Raptors, averaging 3.2 points (on 35.3% shooting) and 2.0 rebounds in 8.8 minutes per game.
