"The King" LeBron James is currently linked to aid Bugs Bunny and his fellow Looney Toon comrades in a potential "Space Jam" sequel, although Michael Jordan - the man who starred in the original film back in 1996 - would prefer to see another NBA star in that role.

When asked at a recent basketball camp who he would like to see be the lead in the film, Jordan picked Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers.

While we may never see the human highlight reel enter the cartoon universe on the big screen, fans did get a taste of what that would be like when Griffin starred in a commercial alongside Marvin the Martian to promote Jordan's Super Fly 4 sneakers last year.

The 27-year-old is also currently listed as a producer for Disney's remake of "The Rocketeer," which would continue his ventures into the world of Hollywood in what may end up being his post-basketball career.
