Spurs' Manu Ginobili: Dealing with sore calf

Ginobili is dealing with a sore calf and may be limited during Argentina's exhibition Friday against the United States, Paul Garcia of Project Spurs reports.

Analysis:

After deciding earlier this offseason to keep his career going, Ginobili re-signed with the Spurs on a one-year deal and will now turn his attention to the 2016 Summer Olympics in what figures to be his last Games with the Argentinian national team. Since Friday's matchup doesn't have any bearing on the Olympics and is more of a tune-up for both teams, there's little incentive for Ginobili to overextend himself while he's not fully healthy. He should be over the injury when the Olymipcs officially kick off in August.
