Clippers' Diamond Stone: Signed by Clippers

Stone signed a two-year contract with the Clippers on Thursday, Dan Woike of L.A. Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Stone, originally selected 40th overall by the Pelicans and sent via trade to the Clippers, will make the rookie minimum of $543,471 during the first year of his contract. The second year of his deal is worth $905,249 with the entire contract guaranteed. Stone was a highly-touted recruit out of high school and spent just one season at Maryland before declaring for the draft. He'll likely take some time to develop before seeing significant minutes in the NBA.
