The Golden State Warriors' Death Lineup of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, Andre Iguodala, and Draymond Green was the most efficient in the NBA during the regular season, with a league-best offensive rating (142.0) and net rating (47.0).

Now, imagine adding a four-time scoring champion like Kevin Durant into the fold, perhaps creating a five-man unit the likes of which has never been seen before.

Durant is aware of the five players the Warriors will try to sell him on - Curry, Thompson, Green, Iguodala, and Shaun Livingston - during their pitch, sources told the Bay Area News Group's Marcus Thompson, which is believed to be scheduled for after he speaks with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday morning. The idea of creating a "Super Death Lineup" with Golden State reportedly intrigues the All-Star forward.

Should Durant agree to sign with the Warriors, one source said the team would look to him to help recruit other players, with the hope being that they'd take minimal money for the opportunity to compete for a championship.

One of Golden State's biggest needs at that point would be a starting center, as former No. 1 overall pick Andrew Bogut would likely be gone as a result of Durant's arrival.

Several Warriors players reportedly got into Durant's ear at various points during the season in an attempt to convince him to come aboard when he hits unrestricted free agency, suggesting the team's interest in him isn't a result of blowing a 3-1 series lead in the NBA Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Durant will reportedly also meet with the San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, and Miami Heat.
