Clippers' Blake Griffin: Resumes shooting free throws on court

Clippers coach Doc Rivers said Thursday that Griffin (quadriceps) has resumed shooting free throws on the court, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

Since free throws are a fairly static activity, it's difficult to gauge how far along Griffin truly is in his recovery from the partially torn left quad that he first injured back in December, and then aggravated in the Clippers' first-round playoff series loss to the Trail Blazers. Griffin ultimately required a bone marrow procedure to address the ailment, but the presumption remains that he'll be fully healthy for the start of training camp in the fall. Periodic updates on Griffin's rehab process should be made available throughout the summer.
