Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Turns in massive double-double in Game 6 win

Thompson supplied 15 points (6-6 FG, 3-4 FT), 16 rebounds and three assists over 43 minutes during Thursday's 115-101 victory over the Warriors in Game 6 of the Finals.

Analysis:

With the Cavs' season once again on the line, Thompson stepped up with third double-double of the series, and fourth contest overall with double-digit rebounds. The 25-year-old was typically dominant down low, and 14 of his 16 boards notably came on the defensive end, snuffing out second-chance opportunities for the Warriors. Thompson's 15 points were also a postseason high, and similar scoring contributions would certainly go a long way towards helping the Cavs' cause in Sunday's Game 7.
