Warriors' Andrew Bogut: Out 6-to-8 Weeks

Bogut (knee) will miss six-to-eight weeks with multiple bone bruises in his left knee, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

While Bogut traveled with the team to Cleveland in advance of Thursday's Game 6 against the Cavaliers, there was never much of a chance that he'd play after suffering what looked to be a fairly gruesome injury during Game 5. It's certainly encouraging that he's avoided any ligament damage and won't require surgery, but the big man still faces a lengthy recovery timetable that will sideline him for much of the offseason. Even so, Bogut is expected to be back at full strength for the start of the 2016-17 campaign, which will mark the final year of his contract.
