Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr opted to insert Andre Iguodala into the starting lineup for Game 5 on Monday in place of the suspended Draymond Green.

Initially it had been reported that James Michael McAdoo would start in place of Green, though the Warriors' public relations Twitter account announced it would be Iguodala instead.

Iguodala has averaged nine points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 21 playoff games. His lone start came in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals.

Green was issued a one-game suspension Sunday after being retroactively assessed a flagrant 1 for striking LeBron James between the legs in Game 5. Green had already accumulated three flagrant points prior to Game 4 so his fourth point automatically triggered a one-game suspension.

Kevin Love will return to the Cavaliers' starting lineup, with Richard Jefferson coming off the bench.
