Warriors' Shaun Livingston: Leads team in scoring in Game 1 win
Livingston scored a team-high 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-4 FT) and added four rebounds, three assists and a steal in 27 minutes in Thursday's Game 1 win over the Cavaliers.
Analysis:
It was an odd night for Golden State, who watched their prolific backcourt duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combine for as many points as Livingston. The bench came up big for the Warriors, as Leandro Barbosa (11 points, 5-5 FG) and Andre Iguodala (12 points) joined Livingston in providing a scoring bounce while Curry/Thompson shot a combined 8-for-27 from the field. While it was nice to see the respected Livingston play such a big role, this is not the Warriors' typical recipe for winning. Game 2 is set for Sunday in Oakland.
